NEGATIVE DEGREE plays in-your-face, 80’s hardcore reminiscent of DC, Boston or Detroit bands. Seven tracks combining DC melodic line, Boston anger and Detroit hatred. No metal, no ska, no emo, just pure energy à la early Dischord or Touch and Go. A near-garage primitive guitar sound mixed with Neg. Approach/FX vocals.
This is the 7” version of their fantastic demo that came out this year featuring members of GUNS N' ROSA PARKS, THE CITY IS THE TOWER, and STILL LEFT STANDING.
